When will American and European Darwinism collapse? How fast will they collapse?

Questions

1. When will European Darwinism collapse? When will American Darwinism collapse?

2. How fast will Christian creationism expand and Darwinism collapse in Europe?

3. What can Christendom learn from the experiences of an innovative and forward thinking Christian organization about speeding up the collapse of  European Darwinism, atheism and agnosticism?

European creationism is growing.   Even in secular France, creationism is quickly growing. See:
Immigrant evangelical churches are a fast growing movement in France and  French scholars say evangelicalism is likely the fastest growing religion in France

This must be troubling to dogmatic evolutionist because if creationism can grow in Europe, it can grow anywhere.  We covered this matter in a number of articles: A collection of our articles on European creationism

Europe's economic prospects and its religious landscape

Michael Shedlock's analysis of the global economy and the European economic crisis is highly praised by both sides of ideological fence - namely by liberal media outlets and by conservatives in terms of their economic/political views. You can read his bio and see for yourself: Michael Shedlock's bio

Recent articles by Mr. Shedlock demonstrates that Europe's underlying problems are not being solved and they are going to lead to major economic problems in Europe: European economic problems and Eurocrises: Crunching the numbers and Europe's economic prospects

Even Germany a prodigious exporter is being affected now by the current problems.

In addition, there is some excellent economic analysis done by a mainstream newspaper on the Eurocrisis: The Eurozone explained via 5 simple grafts and  Can an economy still grow with serious debt?

Economics and atheism

Furthermore, we know that changes in the economic and political landscape can make significant and even dramatic changes in the religious landscape. See: Social unrest in Europe altering its religious landscape  and Does atheism thrive on economic prosperity? Does religion prosper when people are desperate and ignorant?

How strong is atheism in its young adherents

In addition, we know that atheism is a weak ideology and those raised in atheist households have low retention rates in terms of remaining atheists. See: Georgetown University study provides two clues to shrinking atheism faster

How fast can atheism collapse in a country?

Furthermore, we know that atheism can collapse quickly in a country:

So how fast will European creationism rise in Europe and Darwinism collapse?

Let us first examine some background information.

The speed of collapse of Darwinism in Europe

Professor Eric Kaufman,  who teaches at the University of London, Birbeck College, indicates that the higher rate of fertility of religious conservatives, the sub-replacement levels of fertility among the secular population and religious immigration will cause the religion to triumph in the world including secular Europe.  See: Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century and Religious immigrants highly resistant to secularization will dramatically alter the religious landscape of Europe

Financial commentator Michael Snyder wrote in his article The Coming Economic Collapse Will Not Be A Single Event:
Many people hype “the coming economic collapse” as if it is some kind of big summer Hollywood blockbuster.  Many people out there write about it as if it is something that will happen in a single day or over a few weeks and that it will suddenly change how the entire world functions.  But that is not how the financial world works.  The financial world is like a game of chess – very slow and methodical.  Yes, there are times when things happen very quickly (like back in 2008), but even that crisis played out over a number of months.  Sadly, most Americans are not used to thinking in terms of months or years.  These days, most Americans have the attention span of a goldfish and most Americans have been trained to expect instant gratification.  They are simply not accustomed to being patient and to wait for things.  Well, despite what you may have read, the economic collapse is not going to be a single event.  It is going to play out over quite a few years.  In some ways we are experiencing an economic collapse right now.  When the next major financial crisis occurs, many will be calling that “an economic collapse”.  But if you really want to grasp what is happening to us, you need to think long-term.  We are heading for a complete and total nightmare, but it is going to take some time to get to the end of the story.

Yes, there will certainly be times of great chaos.  The financial crisis of 2008 was one of those moments. But the financial crisis of 2008 did not completely destroy us. Neither will the next crisis. I think it is helpful to think of what is happening to us as a series of waves. When you build a beautiful sand castle on the beach, the first wave that comes in does not totally destroy it. Rather, the first wave weakens the castle and it is destroyed by subsequent waves. Well, that is what is happening to us.
I believe economic degradation of Europe will happen in a series of events and that economic competition with Asia and other countries will cause European decline to accelerate.  In addition, European governments will try to socialize the effects of their decline as much as possible. This will prolong their decline. The billionaire and legendary investor Jim Rogers is very bullish on China/Asia and has even moved his family to Singapore. As noted above, Christianity is exploding in China in terms of its adherents. See: China: World's biggest atheist population about to see a big decline

Also, there is a possibility that some European countries may minimize the effects of their long term decline by defaulting on their debt and forcing their bankers to take the economic lumps instead of their populace which Iceland did. See: Iceland: default and devalue  However, I don't believe that this will stem the long term decline of Europe in our lifetime.  Also, central bankers, private bankers and government bureaucrats are very stubborn and their influence is very strong so defaults on sovereign debt and/or private bank debt maybe the exception rather than the rule. See: Stubborn central bankers and Bankers and Italy/Greece

Traditionally, when there is a state religion and there are political scandals the reputation of the state religion gets sullied. In addition, a state religion inhibits competition and so the religious landscape suffers in terms of quality and vibrancy (the religious scholar Rodney Stark does some excellent work in this area). Furthermore, when a state begins losing power, the state religion loses its grasp of power as well.

Darwinism is both an ideology and a religion. Michael Ruse, an atheist and evolutionist science philosopher admitted, “Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today.”

So it would seem that European governments facing increasing economic problems would have their policies questioned concerning Darwinism by a growing religious population within their midst.  In addition, it would make sense that as secular Europe suffers decline that secular ideologies such as atheism, agnosticism and Darwin would be less influential in the world. Also, as Asian Christianity continues to explode and Asia continues to prosper long term, it would seem as if Christian influence in the world would increase.

Professor Eric Kaufman wrote concerning Europe in his paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century :
We have performed these unprecedented analyses on several cases. Austria offers us a window into what the future holds. Its census question on religious affiliation permits us to perform cohort component projections, which show the secular population plateauing by 2050, or as early as 2021 if secularism fails to attract lapsed Christians and new Muslim immigrants at the same rate as it has in the past. (Goujon, Skirbekk et al. 2006).

This task will arguably become far more difficult as the supply of nominal Christians dries up while more secularisation-resistant Muslims and committed rump Christians comprise an increasing share of the population.
Collapse of Darwinism in America

America has a stronger history of religious freedom than Europe. So the religion of Darwinism has had less sway in America than in Europe. And make no mistake, Darwinism is a religion and ardent Darwinists have established a cult of personality around Charles Darwin.  See: Darwinism is a religion and Question Evolution! Day

So it seems reasonable to assume Darwinism would weaken faster in America than in Europe and that seems to be happening. See: American young earth creationism increased in recent months - Gallup survey

Europe's economy affecting American economy

It is reasonable to assume that European economic problems would affect a U.S. economy that is presently under 16 trillion dollars of federal government debt. Thinktanks and financial reporters indicate for good reason that the European crisis could have a very significant effect on the United States economy.  See: How contagious is Europe's econmic crisis and  America bruised by Eurocrisis

So given America's greater religious freedom and a worsening economic situation that Darwinism would start unraveling faster in the United States than in Europe.  See: Why our Question Evolution! group is focusing on America and Canada and Creating a creationist majority in America

World creationism and European creationism

Belief in biblical creation rising in America and the rest of the world would have an effect on Europe due to global communication and religious immigration. And of course, the reverse is true to some extent as well. So we believe that working on spreading creationism in North America, the UK, France, Germany, Latin America, Norway, Italy, other European countries, Korea, China and other places will have a synergistic effect in terms of defeating Darwinism.

Speeding the collapse of Darwinism through Christian cooperation

Important questions:

1. What does recent Christian history tell us about evangelism and the benefits of Christian cooperation? Are their innovative Christian organizations achieving tremendous evangelism successes?

2.  Can these successes be applied to defeating Darwinism in the fastest possible time?

These questions are explored in our recent article: The benefits of a worldwide coalition of creationist organizations and creationists will be seen in 2013

Christian creationists, why wait?

Creationists, why wait for Darwinism to come crashing down in the latter half of the 21st century if it can largely happen in the first half? We agree Darwinism is merely a collection of pseudoscience held together by indoctrination, don't we? Let break the bonds of indoctrination sooner rather than later.  Let raise our level of dissent louder and louder until it cannot be ignored easily. So get involved in the Question Evolution!
